Correcting the Watkins parentage
One accessible obituary resolved a copied-tree conflation: Delores M. Watkins belonged to a Dunkirk family headed by Charles Watkins and Lola Parker—not to the unrelated Charles Thomas Watkins and Evelyn Roos household previously attached to her.

What the evidence supports
The wording is deliberately precise. A confidence label applies to each claim—not to the person as a whole.
Delores M. Watkins was born in Dunkirk on 14 August 1928 and was the daughter of Charles Watkins and Lola Parker.
Her funeral-home obituary states the date, place, and parents directly; an original birth or marriage record remains the next corroboration target.
Charles Thomas Watkins and Evelyn D. Roos Watkins were Delores M. Watkins's parents.
Their records belong to a separate Michigan and Illinois family whose daughter was Dolores Belle Simpson.
The corrected parents can safely be extended with dates, places, and earlier generations from copied trees.
The public tree retains only the names Charles Watkins and Lola Parker until original records identify them further.
